As the world index powers ahead, many more companies are being left behind. There are few leading trends, but many weakening and bearish ones. That doesn't mean they're falling, just lagging. To beat the index, you need current or future leaders.
Emerging markets have burst into life, and the spreadsheet is full of interesting ideas like Samsung, Baidu, and Disco. Remember that in the Leading Trends section, in column T, we have added a feature that lets you sort by trend duration. Use it to see which companies made a new score of 5 for the first time.
