This week's data offers the first signals of the fallout from the new war in the Middle East.
Some of the market reactions are predictable: winners were the US, the dollar, low volatility stocks, and defensive sectors like utilities. Energy and Defence continued their strong runs.
Overall, the number of bullish stocks declined, with bearish stocks rising in number. 329 stocks made a new CAPR (relative) low this week. However, it was not a uniform selloff, and there are plenty of bright spots still to be found.
